Thoughts, Feelings, and Desires

“Inside of all of us there is the need and the desire to be heard, to have our innermost thoughts, feelings, and desires expressed for others to hear, to see and understand. We all want to matter to someone, to leave a mark.”
-Vicktor Alexander

At any given moment, great quantities of energy circulate within the minds and hearts of men. These energies contain the conscious awareness of the individual, perceived through a filter of perspective and ego. Within these energies, arise the seeds of the future. These seeds are generally a combination of three elements- thoughts, feelings, and desires.

With thought, comes the ability to comprehend all things to the level of an individual’s own vibration. The higher the vibration, the higher the comprehension of ones own reality. Higher vibrations contain a higher plane of thinking, with greater understanding of the forces of the universe beyond the physical body.

With feelings, comes the ability to connect to the energy that circulates within an individual and the world around. Those with the ability to feel deeply are able to connect with all people and things on a greater level.

With desires, comes the ability to crave energy that is lacking within an individuals own reality. Those with great desires contain great cravings for change within the reality the individual perceives.

With the connection and understanding of these three forces, one has the ability to shape their own life and destiny.

Every reality from an individual’s own perspective spawns from the seed of desire. Every individual has many desires. However, the desire with the greater craving for recognition is the desire that is pursued. For example, if one has a desire to lose weight, but also has a desire to eat junk food, the reality will be shaped by the desire that is stronger. If the desire is stronger to lose weight, the individual will lose the weight. If the desire is stronger to eat the junk food, the individual will not lose the weight. Before any undertaking, be sure to know what you truly desire.

From the seed of desire, spawns the stem of thought. If one craves, one will think. For example, if that same person who wanted to lose weight had a craving for junk food, the individual will contemplate from their own perspective whether or not to eat the junk food, based on the intensity of their own desires.  Thoughts are ultimately controlled by the desires in which we crave.

Feelings are the wild card in the desire-thought game. One may have cravings for the junk food, but if eating it creates negative feelings, then the intensity of the desire to eat it, is reduced. Feelings have the power to alter desires, and those with a deeper ability to feel, have a deeper feeling for change. Feelings can only succumb to thoughts, which logic may allow for one to use practical reasoning, and alter their feelings.

Thoughts, desires, and feelings can be compared to rock, paper, and scissors. Rock is beaten by paper, but will beat scissors. Thoughts will succumb to desires, but will control how one responds to feelings.  Paper is beaten by scissors, but will defeat rock. Desires will succumb to feelings, but will control how one thinks. Scissors is beaten by rock, but will beat paper. Feelings will succumb to thought, but will control what one desires. Each element can overpower, as well as be overpowered.

The future is seeded by the actions in which one takes. Actions originally spawn from thought. Thoughts are but a product of our desires, which are created from feelings. By understanding the importance of these elements, and making favorable use between them, an individual can get down to the very thought, feeling, or desire that needs change or fulfillment. The future is ultimately what you make it, and you have the ability to make what you wish. “When the winds begin to blow, and the skies begin to hail, seek great wisdom as you go, and set the better sail.”
