The Mixture

“Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.”
- Robert F. Kennedy

There are great actions yet to be taken, timeless moments yet to come, feelings yet to be felt, and life left to be lived. What it all comes down to is the sum average of the mark you left in this world. Everything is energy, reacting within itself in a cosmic mixture. There is a sum average of humanity. This is referred to the meaning of life. All people, in all times and places are part of this mixture. The lives lived, lessons learned, and principles enacted result in the total of this mixture. As individuals, our actions, thoughts, and feelings play an essential piece in this puzzle of existence. The clock is still ticking. The game is still being played. The score isn’t set in stone, and the outcome can be as great as we so wish it to be. To make this true, we must be the change we wish to see in this mixture. We must be the change we wish to see in the world. But before that can take fruition, we must seek and develop the change we wish to see in ourselves. We cannot change the mixture, until we change the ingredients, in which it is made of. To be the alchemist in this mixture, the process must be enacted. This may be known as the grind, the story, or the legacy. The output is determined by the input. Input is the developing force. Input the thoughts, feelings, and actions that are needed to make the difference. It will take time. It is not a linear change. It is the correlation of our motion that determines the direction in which we travel. When it all comes down to it, it is up to you to set it forth. It is up to you to set the better sail, and glide to the destination in which you are bound to go. Keep sailing, keep learning, and keep growing. The destination is out there, and it is on you to find it. When the winds begin to blow, and the skies begin to hail, seek great wisdom as you go, and set the better sail.
